With live events at a standstill, for the time being, creating opportunities for physical touchpoints is more important than ever. Yet, while the event industry has seen better years, technology companies are thriving.

Take Unity, the world’s leading platform for creating real-time 3D projects. Throughout the past year, they’ve continued to hire on all cylinders.

In normal circumstances, Unity hiring events are hosted locally in various regions across the world. As you can imagine, a company like Unity attracts some of the top talent in their space, so leaving a good impression on these candidates is important. Without the ability to meet in person for hiring events, they needed another way to engage potential employees.

Unity decided to send out premium gift boxes to each person who participated in their virtual hiring event. That means shipping out individual gifts to several different countries across multiple continents.

A few breakout activities were also planned during these events, so it was important that the gift boxes included a few items that would complement the activity sessions.

Unity tapped Becreative Marketing, which specializes in creating experiences through branded products, as their resource for these physical touchpoints. Becreative handled the ideation, production, and fulfillment pieces of the project while managing recipient information and shipping with their Remote Gifting Platform.

“Our internal teams and new recruits absolutely love the gift boxes,” said Heather Glendinning, Unity’s head of global events. “Becreative provided tons of product ideas and made the process super simple.”

Becreative Marketing continues to see a huge opportunity for brands to integrate physical touchpoints into their virtual events, coupled with product personalization, gamification, and experiential activities to make them feel as close to live events as possible.
