As we pass the one-year anniversary of lockdown and with 13 weeks until “E” Day, New Model Army (NMA), an industry initiative created by Liz Sinclair from esprecruitment and Trevor Foley of tfconnect, are launching their recruitment website. The website, www.nma.events, allows Recruiting Managers to source candidates directly from a database of event professionals.

Over 330 event professionals across the events and exhibitions sector have already registered on the NMA database and the number is growing. New Model Army is making these candidates, whose roles have been made redundant due to COVID-19, a priority in getting back into work.

Whether it is on a contract, permanent or temporary basis, Recruiting Managers can register to search for candidates with specific skills, experience and salary requirements. Contact details will be supplied to reach out to these candidates directly if suitable.  If candidates are hired from the database, then a highly reduced fee will be charged to the recruiting company on the day the candidate starts work.

“Although the industry is moving in the right direction, NMA wants to offer a flexible, cheaper option for those wanting to recruit this year, to try & get as many people back into work as we can. Rather than searching through hundreds of applications, just search a smaller database of available candidates & contact them directly” said Liz Sinclair
