A virtual wedding may not be what you have dreamed of.  Declaring and committing your love to one another without being surrounded by your closest family and friends may not be what you envisioned.  We don’t know how much longer this pandemic may last so many couples would love to get married and save the large party for later.  A great way to still get married but do so in a socially distant way is by hosting a virtual wedding.  Here are keynotes in planning your special day virtually:

First things first – choose a streaming service

There are many options available now to choose from.  Keep in mind you want to use a service that is user friendly.  While there is Facebook Live, there may be some people in your party who do not have Facebook.  Zoom has been pretty successful in putting together a virtual wedding show.  You can set up the speaker view so everyone can see your main event and you can set up the gallery view so you can see everyone. 

Dry run on the technical gear

Everyone knows nowadays you truly need to do a dry run when it comes to technology. Makes sure everything connects okay, displays fine, and can hear.  And remember to check your lighting.  Natural outdoor light works best when filming.  Dry runs are so important because if there is a technology issue, you have time to fix it before the big day.
